JBB is a Hip Hop group and social justice organization founded by a group of law students at Howard University School of Law. JBB’s purpose is to spread awareness around social justice issues and to foster community development through the arts. JBB which stands for Justice Behind Bars/Just Building Bridges was founded in 2015 and has established an online platform “JBB Worldwide” for promoting music by socially conscious artists.

JBB comprises of three members:  SB (a finance and music double-major from San Antonio, Texas), Oz (a teacher and songwriter from Benin City, Nigeria) and YG (a poet and philosopher from Los Angeles, CA).

Currently JBB offers free Hip Hop themed educational workshops for youth and free-guided tours to the homes and burial sites of national civil rights icons such as Frederick Douglass, Medgar Evers, Mary McLeod Bethune, among others.
